Off Campus Offering: Global Health at The Universities of Maryland at Shady Grove  Program Description

The PBC in Global Health is designed to provide basic knowledge in global health to those employed or seeking positions requiring this knowledge. In addition to a foundational course in Global Health the program’s twelve credit program will acquaint students with concepts and experiences from political, sociocultural, financial and administrative perspectives. Specifically the course includes required instruction in: Global Health Communication and Promotion, Program Planning and Evaluation; and an elective from either, History of Public Health, Global Health Diplomacy, or Social Marketing.
